Hi, I am Caroline Hewitt and I am the founding member of Centred Counselling. I am a qualified Person Centred Counsellor and a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Sometimes in this fast-paced life, we lose track of who we are and what we genuinely want for ourselves, it’s easy to become overwhelmed and stuck. Our thoughts and feelings don’t always match up and sometimes they are based in past events or future concerns, this can make day to day living a struggle.

In my practice, it is my aim to offer you a safe space where you can begin to unpick what is happening for you, even if you’re not sure where to start. Though it often doesn’t feel like it, I believe that each person is unique and has an innate ability towards healing and in my role as a counsellor, I will endeavour to journey alongside you as you discover this for yourself.

I am able to offer face to face and online counselling and have daytime/evening and weekend availability.

Testimonials

WHAT OUR CLIENTS SAY

Thank you for helping me when I needed it most.  I thought that life would never be the same, and just didn’t want to get out of bed anymore or be around people.  You helped me make sense of my feelings and now I know life won’t ever be the same, but it feels different, my days are better and I am happier and I have started volunteering again.

DT / June 2018

I’m much more confident in myself and my abilities. I’ve definitely made moves away from relationships that were hurting me.  I value myself, my thoughts, my wants first and I am finally living my life the way I have always wanted to.

BR / Feb 2017

I have been seeing Caroline as my counsellor for a couple of years now and have felt and experienced many changes; I have become more confident, more happy and more myself since receiving therapy from Caroline. She is considerate, empathetic, reassuring and very quickly allayed any concerns I had receiving counselling in the first place.
